What is Virus?

In general terms they have an infection phase where they reproduce widely and an attack phase where they do whatever damage they are programmed to do. The year 2003 was one of the worst years in the history of viruses and the programs are human makes them with programming cod; there are a

large number of virus types.

  2. Stealth Virus
  3. Email virus
  4. Horses Trojan And etc…

The places of effecting?
Most attaches themselves to run able file system,Some of these file are (EXE, COM, SYS, BIN, OVL, OLL, SCR etc)Some cutting the Boot sector, and some even destroy (Partition Table),Some viruses slow down the system, and some other bootable files, abnormal operation of a system is a sign of virus 

Some Damages caused by Viruses
Jeffrley Parson a 19 years old, made a virus in 2003 that attacked a Microsoft official web sites resulted 500,000 Systems were infected and more done 1.2,000,000 million finicial damage.

How to identify a virus
After it’s duplication takes out the free space on a hard disk, A copy of viruses is send to many through e-mail's Address Book, It erases off your file and even format the HD, It installs secretly applications, and distribute through the network, Infection to a virus interrupts the Anti-Virus, Cause many new  abnormal shortcuts on the desktop, In case of infection the system may not be bootable, Computer responding to your operation will be abnormal, Facing with memory mistakes or restarting of system can be some reasons for a virus infected system.

What you shouldn’t do…
A few things we have to do as precautions for not getting it, In case of Win XP use do your hard partition with NTFS format, Use the update versions of (Norton and MacAfee, etc) anti virus and make sure to update it Make a Backup copy of the important Info. The download files are to be scanned with Antivirus, Not to except any files with the .exe, .bat affixes from unknown people via email or Messenger, In case of receiving email from strangers do not open the Attachments, Do not install the programs that you are not sure of its use, Not to share your PC if you don’t need to
